Horrex is now over 35 years old and has a good market position in Europe, Asia, Oceania and North America. Our markets (motorhomes, caravans, vans) are very dynamic and offer great prospects for the future. We supply leading OEMs, converters, wholesalers and dealers in 32 countries worldwide.
We are located in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands. We also have branches in the United States, United Kingdom and China. For our location in Vlaardingen we are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Director.

Your responsibilities:

The technical and commercial preparation and realization of (new) projects, this within with customers and internally agreed standards and projected end result.

Advising on and realizing (new) products and production lines with which products are developed and produced with the most favorable cost-quality ratio.

Managing the R&D department.

Together with Sales and R&D acquiring new orders.

Preparing and facilitating production capacity growth with regard to personnel recruitment, (production) resources, suppliers and (production) partners at home and abroad.

Co-develop, manage and implement the KAM-care system.

Supervise, coach and train existing and new technical staff in order to improve their professional and qualitative development.

Conduct regular appraisal and performance reviews and 1 on 1 meetings with your team.

Initiate and oversee correct procedures according to Lean, Scrum and Kaizen methodologies.

As a member of the MT, help promote, develop and innovate the Group's vision and strategy internally and externally.

Stays abreast of industry developments and responds accordingly.

The development, implementation and maintenance of existing and new business procedures within the area of responsibility.

Ensures implementation of and compliance with set (safety and risk standards) according to RI.

Reports directly to owner / CEO.
